Happy Thanksgiving! I just returned home from a very eventful visit to Columbia.
Little Jay-Z babysat me last night. We had an awesome time! She's quite a little character - cute as a little bug and definitely knows how to get what she wants. She's constantly making noise and squirming, which may be a bad omen for the future, but for now it's pretty darned entertaining. Which is good, because she doesn't really know any other tricks yet.
Unfortunately, the little vixen woke me up at 3:30 am babbling about something. I changed a diaper (a #1 thankfully), but I never really got back to sleep after that.
We started out this morning by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. That didn't interest her very much, so we switched to "Keeping Up With the Kardashians". Score!!! I already have her hooked on reality TV.
Babies are really needy. I guess I always discounted the horror stories from new parents. But damn, all that holding, feeding, burping, changing, etc. My ass is TIRED!
Aside from the baby, everyone else had a nice visit. We all ate way too much food. Little Jay-Z's papa, my bro-in-law Big Jay-Z had about 100 bananas. Long story. But it was a good excuse for me to make banana pudding.
But enough about that...PICTURES!
Jaylee getting ready to rock her Thanksgiving couture...
This baby has the longest fingers and toes. She reminds me of a little spider monkey.
Just woke up and ready for some food.
Isn't her little turkey hat ghetto-fabulous?
